About ABF Systems.

Serving the automotive repair industry since 1976

ABF Systems, Inc. was origionally founded in 1976 by Tom LaVielle under the name of Autodata Manuals. We developed and published estimating manuals for the automotive collision repair industry as well as specialty manuals for automotive mechanical repair shops. Autodata was known for providing realistic and accurate data and distributed throughout the United States and Canada.

In 1992 we sold our estimating data to Motor Information Systems and our data became an intregal part of the CCC Estimating Database. We also changed our business name to ABF Systems to focus on body shop software and collision repair shop management consulting.

In 1995 we developed and marketed a line repair estimating and shop management software for small auto body and truck collision repair shops. Great emphasis is placed on affordability, ease-of-use and value for our customers. And we're still at it today - constantly improving and updating our software.

About Tom LaVielle: Tom's experience is as follows; Labor & Parts Development Manager during the early days of Audatex, Founder and Owner of Autodata Manuals, Labor Research Manager/Project Manager at Motor Information Systems (the database provider to CCC), co-owner of Jackson Body & Paint in California and has held shop management positions in both independent and dealer body shops and is currently director of software and database development at ABF Systems, Inc.
